Ryan Headley: Vampire Tango

On the night of my wed aboard the Steadman, I took the fall into my archaic state. The devil-tree of ancients murdered my Veloria and pumped all that was good from me from my collar. The moment of conception and birth are nothing in comparison to the miracles I witnessed on that lone night. I could not even see the most frightful moon of July 19th, 1926, as the ghastly sea-weather churned towards a crescendo…

So begins this suspenseful tale of a wedding night cursed with darkness. If you are having trouble viewing the above audio player, I would encourage you to right click and “save link as” to download Ryan Headley’s Vampire Tango, as performed on WRUV’s No Rules Variety Hour, with a score composed and performed by Chris Madden and Elliot Siegel. Following download, I would then urge you to immediately place the aforementioned audio file on your favorite gadget; listen to it at your leisure, but beware—it is not for the faint of heart. Get more of Ryan Headley on his soundcloud page, where he takes tightly-honed songs, puts them in a blender with plumbing pipes and electrical wire, and whips them into controlled chaos.
